CHOOSE AN AGENT

Choose an agent that  understands your needs. You need to find someone you like, trust, and respect, and who feels the same way about you. A good broker will be your exclusive agent, and represent you with the highest level of test.

GETTING PRE-APPROVED FOR A MORTGAGE

You can use an online mortgage calculator to get a sense of your buying power and monthly debt. Once you have an idea of your comfort level (regarding your monthly payment,) get a pre-approval either by phone, online, or in-person. A mortgage pre-approval is essential in today’s market. Your lender can also give you an estimate of what you will need for down payment, closing costs, and financial reserves. We will be happy to provide recommendations.

CREATE A WISH LIST:

It is important to prioritize your wants and needs before you begin your search. There are many variables to think about including; lifestyle, budget, future plans, as well as location, neighborhood amenities, type of house, and size. It is helpful to create a check list. FINDING YOUR HOME:

We will assist you in your search. You can search on your own from our web site, or you can discuss your wish list with us and have us search for listings, and send you the best listings that meet your wish list!

Either way you search, we will schedule appointments, and accompany you at showings. We are there to help you compare your expectations with the realities of the market, and help you find the best home at the lowest price.

MAKING AN OFFER:

Once you find the home that feels right for you, we will guide you through the paperwork. You will need to complete a sales contract that includes sales price, and any contingencies necessary. We will explain disclosures, and all the conditions of the pre-written contract.

PRESENTING AN OFFER:

We will contact the listing agent to arrange for presentation of your offer and we will work with you during the negotiations.

HANDLING THE TRANSACTION FROM CONTRACT TO CLOSING

We will assist you in finding a home inspector, attorney, insurance agent, and be the person that coordinates all the communication between buyer, seller, attorney, and mortgage lender.

CLOSING

We will celebrate with you at closing!
